I was born into construction and real estate—it’s part of my family’s DNA.

From an early age, I was surrounded by property development, renovations, and real estate projects spanning multiple generations of my family. That early exposure laid the foundation for understanding how buildings are constructed, maintained, and managed across both residential and commercial environments.

My professional background includes extensive hands-on construction experience, working in a family construction company on residential homes and commercial projects, followed by ownership of my own renovation and handyman business. In that role, I regularly corrected deficiencies identified in inspections and gained firsthand insight into how inspection findings translate into real-world repairs. I am also a former Certified Lead Safe Renovator.

My commercial experience extends beyond construction into property operations and risk evaluation. I have performed maintenance, repairs, and management for a wide range of commercial rental properties—from single-family homes to multi-family assets, including a six-story, 52-unit building constructed in 1920. This experience sharpened my understanding of aging buildings, deferred maintenance, and long-term risk considerations.

In addition to construction and property management, I bring nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong emphasis on commercial risk. I spent over five years as a commercial underwriter evaluating property exposures, followed by nine years in home office commercial underwriting focused on quality audits, complex risk analysis, and the development of underwriting standards and guidance. This included evaluating construction methods, building systems, and risk factors such as aluminum branch circuit wiring. I also spent two years as an insurance agent, providing a full-spectrum perspective on property risk, coverage, and client service.

Today, I apply this combined construction, commercial risk, and inspection experience to every inspection I perform.

I am a proud member of InterNACHI and CCPIA and hold both the Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) and Certified Commercial Property Inspector (CCPI) credentials. Residential inspections are performed in accordance with the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, while commercial inspections are guided by CCPIA standards and tailored to the agreed-upon scope of engagement.
