At 1st Edge Inspections, we focus on quality over quantity. Every inspection is performed thoroughly and methodically to support confident property decisions. We don’t aim to be the lowest price—we aim to deliver the highest level of accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.

For commercial inspections, services are performed in accordance with CCPIA Standards of Practice (SOP) and tailored to the agreed-upon scope of engagement with the client. This scope-driven approach ensures the inspection aligns with the property type, intended use, and specific risk considerations relevant to each project.

For residential inspections, we follow the InterNACHI Standards of Practice (SOP) to ensure a consistent, comprehensive evaluation of the home’s major systems and components. Observations are documented using high-quality photography, thermal imaging, moisture detection, and drone imagery when appropriate to verify conditions and clearly communicate findings.

For safety and documentation purposes, inspections are also recorded using a body-worn camera. This recording protects all parties by accurately documenting accessed areas and inspector movement, reinforcing transparency and professionalism throughout the inspection process.
